Mahasiswa Mandailing Natal
is a rapidly-growing niche publisher based in Penang, Malaysia.
A number of our publications are pioneering works in trans-local
history, cultural heritage and environment. Their books are
well-researched and richly-illustrated, appealing to popular
readers as well as academic researchers of Malaysia and Southeast
Survival, a leading U.S. based
international organisation, promoting the rights and the cultural
heritage of indigenous peoples and ethnic minorities. It works
to empower indigenous peoples, and to partner with them to advocate
for their human rights.
- Established in 1986, the World
Rainforest Movement is an international network
of citizens' groups of North and South involved in efforts to
defend the world's rainforests.
- Founded in 1990, the Forest
Peoples Programmes (FPP) aims at bridging the gap
between policy makers and forest peoples. The Forest Peoples Project
is its charitable arm. Through advocacy, projects and capacity
building, FPP helps forest peoples deal with forces that shape
their lives and futures.
